広島の中学生が作った「平和の歌ねがい」を広め始めて9年、今では「ねがい」は2060番までの歌詞が増え、世界一長い歌として日本テレビの木曜スペシャルでも紹介されました。（２００７年１１月）その後、「ねがい」でつながった国ケニアに移住し、夫と有機農業をケニアの農民たちに広めています。2015年にこのプロジェクトを終了し、今三重でシンプルライフを始めています。

 ケニアに来て２年４か月 いつも１２月には帰国していたので 今回初めてのケニアでのクリスマス 気候はいたって温暖で冬のクリスマスのイメージはない ここは田舎なので イルミネーションもクリスマスツリーもない しかし人々は２３日（日）２４日、２５日と教会へ通う キリストの生誕をお祝いする 本物のクリスマスだ ごちそうはチキンとチャパティー 急に鳥と小麦粉の値段が上がる 私はチキンを殺せないのでチキンは食べられない あたりは動物の鳴き声と子供たちの笑い声 平和なクリスマス It is 2 years and 4 months since we moved to Kenya This is our first Christmas in Kenya since we used to go back to Japan The climate here is mild So there is no image of winter Christmas Here is a rural place So we don't see Christmas trees nor illuminations People go to church on 23th (sun), 24th and 25th They celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ This is a genuine Christmas! Special meal is chicken and chapati Suddenly the price of chickens and flour rise We cannot eat chicken because I can't slaughter chickens I hear animals crying and children laughing Peaceful Christmas |

| kid watchemen こどもウォッチマン |
 近所のニワトリがうちの畑を荒らすのだ ご近所の家に訴えてももらちが明かない 何かよい解決方法は？ 今クリスマス休みでこどもたちは家にいる 家の近所で遊んでいるが、ほとんどの子供たちはいつもおなかをすかせている 夫がいいアイデアを思い付いた こどもたちに遊びながらニワトリを見張るウォッチマンをしてくれるか聞いてみた 報酬はランチとおやつとうちでテレビを見ていい権利 子供たちは喜んで引き受けてくれた 夕方には何回ニワトリが畑に来たか報告してくれる 最初は１９回１８回と多いがだんだん２，３回に減ってきた ニワトリも学習するのだ！ 子どもたちはおなかが満たせて、しかも私たちの役に立てて喜んでいる 私たちも畑の被害が減りこどもたちの胃袋を満たせて満足だ Kid watchmen Even in this peaceful village Koibarak, there are some small troubles Neighbour's chickens disturb our farm The chicken owner does not tackle on our complaint Is there any good solutiion? Now is the children's vacation time and children are free They are playing around but most of them are always hungry Then my husband got a good idea We asked them to be watchmen to chase the chicken away from our farm Reward is lunch, sweets and the right to watch TV in our home They are happy and they started to watch the chicken The come to report us how many times the chicken came First 19, 18 times but gradually decreased to 2,3 times Chickens are being disciplined! It is working well! Children are happy to fill their stomach and to help us We are happy to know our farm is free from damage and to fill children's stomach |

| Lucky Lucky ラッキーなラッキー |
 He brings beautiful flowers twice a week All the flowers are from his compound His name is Lucky He lived in Nairobi for 2 years and came back here Now he is our NGO shop keeper In Nairobi there are electricity tap water,… Here no, inconvenient place But in Nairobi, temporary job and lonely Here he lives with his family and no worry about food He is happy now He attracts new customers even more women He has brought luck to us He is really a lucky boy! ラッキーなラッキー 彼は週に2回きれいな花束を届けてくれる すべての花は彼の家の庭から 彼の名はラッキー ナイロビに2年間住んでいたがこの田舎に戻ってきた 今はうちのNGOの店員 ナイロビには電気も水道もある ここはどちらもない不便な田舎 しかしナイロビではチョイ仕事だけ、一人暮らし ここでは家族と一緒、食べ物の心配もない 彼は今幸せだ 彼が店員になってお客が増えた、特に女性客が。。 私たちにも運をもたらした 彼は本当にラッキーボーイだ |

| コージェット？ |
 デイビッドがコージェットを５本持ってきた コージェット？ よく見たらズッキーニだ 大根並みに大きい！ 有機肥料がよく効き始めた！ こんなに大きくなるなんて！ 作ったけど食べ方がわからないから、これで何か作ってくれという 身近にある材料で作ってみた 茄子とズッキーニの炒め物 ガーリックと唐辛子をいいためて、ズッキーニとなすを加え、塩で味付けしただけ シンプルだけどおいしかった 大きいものでもやわらかい デイビッドご馳走様  courgette David brought 5 courgetteｓ? What is courgette? Oh, they are zucchinis. Some are as big as daikon！ Organic fertilizer has begun working well in his farm, too. Sooo big! He said, ' I harvested these but i don't know how to cook". I tried to cook with the ingredients around us. I fried garlic and chili first and added zucchini and eggplants. I sprinkled salt only It was simple but tasty! It was big but soft! Thanks David! |

| シュークリームが恋しくて |
シュークリームが恋しい ケニアの田舎では ないないづくしで 何か食べたくなったら 自分で作るしかない 夫が言った「シュークリームが食べたい」 作ったことないけど挑戦してみようか ネットで作り方を調べて 材料を調達 食材は 地鶏の卵 近所の牛から搾ったミルク あまり白くない砂糖 緑色のレモン これはかえって安心か。。 レシピにそって取り組むこと１時間 ほら出来上がり 形は不ぞろいでも 味は初めてにしてはおいしい！  Cream puff In the countryside of Kenya There is nothing delicious sold If you want something Just you have to make Husband said, ' I want to eat cream puff' I have never tried to make this but OK I'll try. | 笑顔の裏に Behind the smile |
笑顔の影に 普通日本の人は財布にはなにがしかのお金が ここではポケットにはお金がないのが普通 彼は今日食べるために働く 一日の稼ぎは１ドルかせいぜい２ドルぐらい 家族は１０人 夕食は時々なしでミルクなしチャイだけ 明日は明日の風が吹く それでも彼の笑顔はこんなに美しい Behind the smile Usually Japanese people have money in their wallets. Here people usually have no money in their pockets. To eat today, only, he works. One day 1dollar or 2 dollars only. There are 10 people in his family. Sometimes they skip food, only drink tea without milk, Tomorrow is another day. But his smile is so beautiful like this.  |
