今読んでいるのが「国家の暴走」－安倍政権の世論操作術ー古賀茂明(もと経済産業省経済産業政策課長、２０１１年辞職後脱原発改革策などの提言を行っている）

それによると某総理が連呼している「軍事力拡充による積極的平和主義」は平和学で定義されている「積極的平和主義」とは全く違うものである。

それによるとヨハン・ガルトゥングというノルウェーの平和学者は戦争のない状態を「消極的平和主義」と定義、しかし戦争がなくても病気や貧困やハンディキャップなどに苦しみ、個人が本来持っている能力を開花させることを阻まれている人々もいる。そうした状況をなくして、一人一人が人間らしく生き、そしてその能力を開花させることができるよう単に戦争がないだけでなく、貧困、病気、飢餓、人権抑圧、環境破壊などの「暴力」がない状態を「積極的平和主義と定義した。」そうです。

自分勝手に都合よく名づける某総理。。

平和の歌「ねがい」の歌詞が２０００番に到達し、今２０５９番まで！　[2010年12月14日(火)]

日本に帰国している間に北海道の苫小牧市にある泉野小学校から９８編、広島市の牛田中学校から１７編のねがい歌詞が届き、軽く２０００番を突破し、今２０５９番までつながりました！今年中に２０００番の大台を超えました！

２０５７番を紹介します。

その争いの先に　平和があるのか

被爆者の方のねがい歌詞　NEGAI verse from Hibakusha　[2010年05月10日(月)]

I came back from NY and on the way back I received 4 NEGAI verses from the participants of NY NPT delegation.

One of them, Ms. Dasakiyo is Hibakusha. This is the first time to receive a poem of NEGAI from Hibakusha who suffered from a-bomb at 7 years old. It is very memorable and honorable.

Peace Day Sep 21　[2009年09月20日(日)]

For a number of years now, the UN has set 21 Sept as Peace Day. While we would like every day to be peace day, it is useful to have one common day during which many people and organizations reflect on a common theme. This 21 Sept the UN has set disarmament as the theme of the day.

9月21日は国際平和デーです。国連で提唱されて数年立ちます、世界でいろいろなイベントがあります。この写真はチョークで平和のアートをというイベントです。

2009広島平和宣言　[2009年08月06日(木)]

今日は第64回広島忌です。テレビで記念式典を見ながら投下時間の8時15分に黙とうをささげ、広島秋葉市長の演説に耳を傾けました。今年はオバマ大統領の核廃絶の方針を支持するという意味で市長自ら'Obamajority'という言葉を作って、核兵器廃絶のための世界の連帯を呼びかけられたのが印象的でした。英文の朗読も素晴らしいものでした。

Mr. Obam's Prague Speech!　[2009年04月12日(日)]

Toward the elimination of Nuclear Weapons!

オバマ大統領のチェコのプラハでのスピーチを紹介します。アメリカ大統領として初めて、核のない世界の展望を述べました。「そのゴールはわたしのの生存中にはひょっとしてかなえられないかもしれないが『核兵器の廃絶ということは無理だ』という人々の声は無視する時が来た。世界は変えられるのだ！」そして最初に先ずアメリカが核削減へ向って歩み出さなければならない。冷戦時代の考えを捨て、核廃絶へ向かうリーダーとなり、ほかの国のにも求めていくというブッシュ時代とは１８０度転換した姿勢を打ち出しました。

I was moved to hear this speech of the US presient Mr. Obama.

He stated the complete elimination of nuclear weapons!

I'd like to show the hilight pf his speecn in Prague Czech Republic.

So today, I state clearly and with conviction America's commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons. (Applause.) I'm not naive. This goal will not be reached quickly -- perhaps not in my lifetime. It will take patience and persistence. But now we, too, must ignore the voices who tell us that the world cannot change. We have to insist, "Yes, we can." (Applause.)

Now, let me describe to you the trajectory we need to be on. First, the United States will take concrete steps towards a world without nuclear weapons. To put an end to Cold War thinking, we will reduce the role of nuclear weapons in our national security strategy, and urge others to do the same. Make no mistake:
